MINARA FOUNDATION
Our first product is a prayer companion designed with precision, clarity, and simplicity. But Minara's vision extends far beyond a single application. We believe that technology, when designed with care and purpose, can help Muslims reconnect with their spiritual practices, navigate modern life with greater awareness, and remain grounded in what matters most.
The name Minara refers to the minaret: a place from which the call to prayer is heard and guidance is shared. In the same spirit, our goal is to build products that quietly support the daily rhythm of Islamic life and make it easier for Muslims around the world to stay connected to their faith.
Minara was founded by a Muslim software engineer specializing in application security, with the conviction that digital tools used by millions of people for their daily religious practice must be built with the highest standards of privacy and security.
Applications that accompany people throughout their daily routines often handle sensitive information such as location data, behavioral patterns, and personal habits. These types of applications can sometimes become targets for malicious activity or data exploitation.
For this reason, security and data minimization are not treated as afterthoughts, but as core design principles guiding the development of Minara. Wherever possible, the platform is designed to operate with minimal data collection while maintaining the accuracy and reliability users expect.
